Michael R. Johnson, Managing Principal

Mike founded Recolo after six years of management experience in the State & Local government sector. For the majority of that time, Mike managed citywide energy reliability, renewable energy and climate change policy initiatives for the City of Chicago. His responsibilities included calculating the City’s corporate greenhouse gas emissions baseline, managing the development of a citywide greenhouse gas inventory and Climate Action Plan and managing a multi-million dollar solar thermal initiative. He served as an environmental consultant. During his tenure, Mike served on numerous committees including the Chicago Climate Exchange Offsets Committee and Illinois Climate Change Advisory Group. Mike also currently serves as Executive Director of the Illinois Solar Energy Association and is a member of numerous local civic organizations.

Dariusz brings on experience in several different industries including, but not limited to, the education and steel industries. He managed consulting projects on efficiency improvements for both for-profit and non-for-profit organizations and served as an auditor for small and mid-size companies on the international scale. Dariusz is a certified internal auditor for both ISO and HACCP standards. He serves as an environmental consultant as well.
